Polarized (IMX250MZR) machine vision area scan camera
The GO-5100MP-PGE is a compact industrial polarization area scan camera built around Sony’s IMX250MZR polarized CMOS sensor. It features 5.1 MP resolution, a frame rate of 22 fps and an innovative 4-way polarizing wire-grid design creating a range of new imaging possibilities in industrial machine vision, traffic imaging and surveillance.
SUMMARY
- IMAGE SENSOR WITH POLARIZATION CAPABILITIES
Each image pixel incorporates one of four separate polarizing nano wire grids angled at 0°, 45°, 90°, and 135° arranged in a regular pattern across the sensor. Thus, each block of four pixels can be used as a calculation block to determine the angle and intensity of light in a scene.
- ADVANCED IN-CAMERA PROCESSING FEATURES
In-camera processing algorithms calculate polarization angle (AoLP) and percentage of total light that is polarized (DoLP) so that host resources can be devoted to other application processing tasks.
- GIGE VISION INTERFACE
The GO-5100MP-PGE is equipped with a standard GigE Vision interface. It can provide full resolution 8-bit output at 22 frames per second over cable lengths up to 100 meters. 10-bit and 12-bit output is also supported.

ACCESSORIES
PD-6 POWER SUPPLY | The PD-6U power supply can be used to power most Go Series cameras as an alternative to powering over the data interface. The power supply is RoHS compliant and conforms to key EMI and EMS standards. It is available in two versions: 1. With 6-pin Hirose connector to camera With flying leads that can be wired to the power lines on a separate I/O cable. 2. The power supply converts 50 Hz to 60 Hz AC input to 12V DC (13A) output. MP-43 TRIPOD MOUNTING PLATE | Tripod adapter features mounting holes to fit spacing on Go Series housing. Standard 1/4-20 attachment to tripods. Includes M3 screws (Depth 5). Only use the supplied screws or other screws having the proper length. Using longer screws can damage internal circuit boards. |
6P-02S POWER CABLE | The 6P-02S cable features flying leads on one end and a Hirose 6-pin connector on the other wired to match the pin-out of JAI Go Series cameras with 6-pin connectors. The flying leads enable power to be supplied via two of the Hirose pins, while the remaining wires/pins can be utilized to access various I/O functions of JAI cameras. The cables can be used with JAI’s own “flying leads” power supplies, or with third-party or custom power supply systems. DOWNLOAD DATASHEET |
PC-6P HIROSE 6-PIN CONNECTOR | The HR10A-7P-6S is a universal connector used for power and control signals for most JAI Go Series cameras and also be used with serial communication (RS-232C) connectors on some CV Series models. The connector is a female plug, with sockets, that mates to the connector on the back of the camera. It has soldering cups for easy assembly of custom cables. |
